SRA offers two types of membership, a full membership and a temporary/leased membership. SRA is a non-profit Co-Op, and a full membership makes the member a shareholder that owns 1/425th of the Association. The Shareholder Fee is $645 (refundable when a member sells their membership). Full members are also required to pay the annual dues for the year (for 2024 that is $725). So a full membership would cost $1,370 for the first year, and $725 every year after that for dues (unless the dues amount were to change).

SRA has a program where full members can have SRA lease their memberships for them (usually because they don’t plan on using it for a season). A leased membership doesn’t make the member a shareholder and the leased membership just requires a payment of the annual fee (for 2024 that is $825). The leased membership is only good for one season. The primary differences between a full and leased/temporary membership are the full member has voting rights at Membership meetings, is a part owner of the association, is able to lease their membership, and, if they own a home within the SRA boundaries, is able to transfer/lease their membership to their tenant if they move out of the area. Temporary members have all the other rights/access to the facilities, teams, events as full members.
